The day I’ve been waiting for this whole trip!! My birthday. Even though we had two media visits in one day, I still had an amazing birthday.

I know Burson Marstellar didn’t actually know it was my birthday but it was fitting that they let us try Campari on my 21st birthday, even though Campari was super gross. Despite the taste, their ad campaigns for Campari are amazing. They’re so creative and engaging.

Burson Marstellar was really cool, but Rai took the cake for me. Maybe I’m biased because they put me on the radio (for the second time, what?!) but I loved seeing their radio station and TV studios. TV stresses me out but I still think it’s interesting. I’m definitely a radio person.

Speaking of, I was totally blindsided by them knowing about my radio show at Point Park, and also my blog post about Italy. I have no idea how they found it. I definitely wasn’t ready to spontaneously end up on the radio, I felt like a deer in headlights. But it was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done.

My one and only complaint about the Rai visit is that they spelled my name wrong both on my name tag, and on the certificate. It’s fine.

Matteo gave us a general area to go to for my birthday, but by the time we were done with all the visits we didn’t really feel like taking the bus. So we went to this small bar down the street from the hotel and ended up having an amazing time. We just sat and talked, the bar had a buffet and we definitely indulged in that. It was definitely a memorable birthday.
