Hello! Another rainy day in Roma but rain did not stop us from visiting some really amazing media sites. Our first stop of the day was Art Attack which was an ad agency that focused on ways to make advertising more real. By real, I mean they use real people to use so it doesn’t sound scripted. This was something I have noticed in American advertising. This allows people to relate to the product. Although this is a strategy used in America, I feel that this company did it very well, better than how we do the same thing as far as creativity. Another thing I admired about this group of people was how passionate they were about their work. Everyone seemed to really love their job. This was inspiring. Next we went to La Republica this was also a really great media visit. I really enjoyed learning about statistical journalism which is not something I will ever do but, I feel that this is the future of the way we consume news and they were doing a great job. I was compelled to read these stories because it was presented in a really cool way. Lastly, we had a delicious dinner where I ate a classic Roman dish. It was a pasta with pepper, oil, and cheese. This was my favorite food I have ate yet. Today was a great day full of education and good food, I am excited to spend another day in this amazing city tomorrow and experience more and make memories.
