Ciao!

I’m Kristina Pacifico (21), a recent graduate from Point Park University with a B.A. in Advertising and Public Relations.

I discovered a fondness for digital communications and special events while at Point Park, obtaining a few internships with local boutique agencies in the Pittsburgh area. Most recently, I’ve finished my terms as AdFed President for Point Park’s club chapter and as Social Media Coordinator for WPPJ Radio, Point Park’s student-run radio station (now I’m passing that down to Emily!)

During my entire college career I’ve also co-hosted the K-Day Radio Show, a weekly K-Pop music show, along with my travel-mate, Kayla. Together we’ve spread K-Pop to our little community of listeners, experienced quite a few K-Pop events and concerts, and hopefully we’ll be able to share more with you, the reader, as well as our K-Day friends if we find anything related to K-Pop while traveling in Italy!

I wish I could call myself a seasoned traveler, but I’m more of an unseasoned traveler. Most of my travels have been to the Philippines to visit family. Outside of that, I’ve been to England for a brief holiday and Costa Rica for a school-sponsored service learning trip. Born and raised in Pittsburgh (although people constantly believe I’m not from here), I also work part-time at a French bakery (Bonjour~!)

Studying abroad was something I’ve always wanted to do while in college, but unfortunately due to my course schedule it was difficult to fit in. Thankfully, this class was a great in-between! I’m most excited to visit Milan, the financial, fashionable, and design-centric hub in all of Italy. With a hobby-like love for fashion trends and architecture, I can’t wait to explore what Milan has to offer!

Keep up with me through this whole experience with my photo-centered blogs and cafe Instagram posts (#KPCafeCrawl).

And now for my shameless plug: If you have any connections or know anyone who works with K-Beauty or K-Pop entertainment, send them my way!
