Ciao! My name is Megan Thorpe, and I am a senior Sports, Arts, and Entertainment Management major with a minor in Public Relations and Advertising.
Originally from Rockwood, Pennsylvania, I chose to attend Point Park University because of the diversity and opportunities located in downtown Pittsburgh. The Honors Program and Campus Activities Board make up a majority of my involvement on campus.
Traveling has become a passion of mine, as I have grown and experienced the world outside of a small town. The International Media class offered the perfect opportunity for me to explore outside of North America and learn about Italian media and culture!
What am I most excited for about the trip? Experiencing five beautiful cities in Italy and hopefully learning new ideas that I can implement into my future work. Oh, and the coffee and gelato of course!
