Hey there!
Casey Hoolahan here, a recent graduate from Point Park University with a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting reporting! As I enter into what they call “the real world” I’m relieved I have these two weeks abroad to pretend I’m not about to face that imminent reality they call “the rest of your life”.
During my time at Point Park I worked for all three student media groups: Our newspaper The Globe, our radio station WPPJ, and our television station U-View. Going forward, I hope to become involved in television broadcasting in any way I can. Currently, however, I have a part-time position with Entercom (formerly CBS radio) working for stations like 100.7 STAR, Y108, 93.7 The Fan, and KDKA! When we return, I will begin as a multimedia reporter at WDTV in Bridgeport, West Virginia!
During this trip I’m looking forward to creating some great videos to capture our time in Italy-hopefully you’ll check it out. I also look forward to the great food, culture, and re-creating scenes from The Lizzie McGuire Movie.
