Carrie Reale hails from the grassy farmlands of Lancaster County, and she has absolutely loved living in the city of Pittsburgh for the past three years. She is majoring in public relations and advertising, minoring in graphic design, and is a part of the Honors Student Organization. Since the first month of her freshman year, she has been actively involved in the Body Christian Fellowship. She joined the student leadership team when she was a sophomore, and was elected this past semester to be president and has cherished her time serving in that position.
She just concluded her second full year as an employee of the Office of Student Life, serving as both a resident educator to 24 crazy cool freshmen last year and office assistant and social media coordinator this past year. She also worked for the Coalition for Christian Outreach as their events intern, which has been the highlight of her academic journey thus far.
Her hobbies include quoting Finding Nemo, advocating for the Oxford comma, and being the mom friend. Her natural habitat is any Goodwill Store in the United States.
The 25% of her that is Italian is super excited to go on this trip and learn more about Italian culture (the other 75% is just here to consume gelato & gnocchi). She hopes that you enjoy perusing through the 28 unique journeys and experiences on this special little website!
