Although we were lucky enough to see parts of Milan yesterday, today was mostly about work.

First thing this morning, we had a trip to Burston Marstellar which was a very long presentation, but honestly, I didn’t mind it too much because it was very intriguing. We had five presentations from the company not only explaining the type of work they do, but how they do it, how it’s raised more awareness for their company, and finally the visual parts of their work.

Towards the end, the last presenter showed us a short film that they have been working on for advertisement on the red alcohol, Campari. At first, they began with unique stories and experiences of the bartenders that serve Campari. After working on a few short clips of these stories, they decided that their next move was a short film filled with mystery about who makes Campari.

This turn the bartenders who use the alcohol in their drinks into a rare breed of superheroes almost. This made the audience think that whoever is lucky enough to have a bartender that makes a delicious Campari drink should have their own story with the drink.

So, to say the least, their presentation was very good at grabbing our attention.

Next, we visited Rai, an Italian broadcasting company. They not only told us the history behind the company and building but took us on a whole tour of the building, showing us the different sets that they have for TV and even let us speak on a live radio show.

Of course, this made the trip even cooler, and although we couldn’t quite tell what they were saying, it was amazing to be given an opportunity to be on a live show like that.

We had a free night for some dinner and fun which is our last free night in Italy. This made me realize how quickly this trip is ending and how much I can’t wait to be back here someday, having new experiences. So, get ready to read about my final day here tomorrow!
