Today is our last full day in this beautiful country and I can’t tell what I’m going to miss the most. To start, Milan has been awesome. All the media visits that we have had so far have been so interesting and intriguing, it’s hard to not take something away from it.

Today we went to Hearst, which hosts offices for Cosmopolitan, Elle, and Marie Claire. This is every girl’s dream, whether communications are your major or not!

They offered us an amazing tour of all the offices and showed us a small bit of all the work that they have to put in every single day. Although this isn’t my interest, seeing how they put together Cosmo magazine is like a dream. Like every other girl, it’s one of my favorite magazines and meeting the Chief in Editor was crazy!

Afterwards we got some time to go back into the center of Milan and finish some shopping and have some lunch.
Coming back to the hotel room, I realized how crazy it is that these two weeks are over. It feels like just yesterday that we came. Of course, exhaustion has gotten to all of us, and a lot of us are sick with head colds, this experience is seriously breath taking.

Courtney and I took a taxi back to our hotel, and ended up sad at the end of it, thinking that we won’t be in this city for at least a few more years. The stories that we are coming away with and the professional experience that we were lucky enough to have will honestly last a lifetime.

50 years down the road, I can confidently say that I will remember every part of this trip, and I couldn’t be happier about it.

I think the only way to appropriately end my very last blog is: ciao, Italia!
