Milan, Italy

Today was our last full day in Milan, and Italy! It started out rough because I got even sicker during the night and was beginning to accept the fact that I could die here. But after our visit to Hearst Italia, it became one of my favorite days.

Hearst was interesting simply because I love fashion, and it was an experience that I would’ve never gotten otherwise, so I’m thankful.

Afterwards, Kristina, Casey, & I went shopping by the duomo. We honestly could’ve spent hours browsing through every store that piqued our curiosity. The options were seemingly endless.

I’m a lover of street clothing, so I nearly lost my mind in Alcott & Urban Outfitters (yes, the latter is in America). I ended up buying a navy blue, red, and white shirt in a cropped, sporty design. I’m contemplating wearing it to the airport tomorrow.

In And Other Stories, I found my sister a pair of huge, gold hoop earrings. Coincidentally, this is what I had been looking for this whole trip, and I was about to give up until fate stepped in. I’m still trying to figure out how to transport them without breaking them in my luggage, but I’m sure I’ll manage.

I keep thinking about how I have to re-pack my suitcase (I didn’t end up doing it last night) and wake up at 5 a.m., and it’s killing me. Not to mention, my fear of airplanes is still prevelant (good thing we’ll be on one for about 8 hours).

There isn’t much to do now but attempt to sweat out my sickness and rest my back for the impending middle seat of doom.
