Italy has had so much to offer us, but it’s quickly coming to an end now that we’re in the last city on our trip: Milan.

This morning, we took another long bus ride (and another long nap) to get to Milan. Our sweet bus driver dropped us off almost directly at the Duomo, so we had to quickly get off the bus to meet our tour guide for the day. The walking tour was split in half with an hour lunch break which made the day seem to go by a lot quicker and easier.

After arriving to the hotel, we had to do what we’ve all been dreading this whole trip…saying good-bye to Matteo, our amazing tour guide. Since he has another tour to head in Barcelona, we were assigned a different tour guide, Serena, who seems to be super sweet! However, we’ve all grown close to Matteo and it’s hard to see him leave when we may not see him again. But I’m sure this new tour guide is going to be just as informational and sweet, maybe less sassy too!

For dinner, we went to a small restaurant a few blocks away from the hotel and had really great pasta along with some chicken and French fries. To be honest, it was kind of refreshing to have some French fries here after not having them for so long!

We walked back and are already getting ready for bed. Even though that sounds crazy because it’s 9 o’clock at night, traveling this much has completely taken all of the energy out of us. Yes, we took a couple naps along the way today, but five cities in two weeks can be super hectic! So I think the best tip is to make sure you always stay consistent on the sleep!

Tomorrow begins the media trips again, and hopefully they’re as entertaining as the ones in Rome!
