Today we had two media visits: An ad-agency and an Italian newspaper.

The ad-agency, called Ad Attack was founded in 2001. The presentation they gave us was so refreshing and energetic, which was really engaging and enjoyable as an audience member. Their video campaigns for various companies were all so unique, thought-out, and well executed- It made me want to be part of their video production team! I hope to be as passionate about my own career as the staff at Ad Attack seem to be.

During our break between media visits, I visited the Basilica di Santa Maria. This church was absolutely stunning. The artwork was breath-taking.

And of course, I had to stop for some gelato. Today’s combo of flavors was strawberry and oreo.

Next, we visited La Republic, an Italian daily newspaper. We met with their digital creator and social media manager, which gave a lot of insight into how the journalism world is adapting to be more appealing to today’s online audience. We toured their studio and several of their newsrooms.

After our media visits, we had the evening to ourselves. Nikole Kost asked our tour guide Matteo for a recommendation and off we went. Of course, the rain began pouring down before we were even halfway to our destination. After asking for directions several times we finally made it to our destination.

Tomorrow is our last day in Rome! Stay tuned to see what we get up to next! Ciao!
