Francesca Dabecco is passionate about people’s stories and thrives to tell them in the most interesting, innovative and inspiring formats. Currently, she is pursuing a BA in Journalism at Point Park University.
Since her first year of college, Francesca has served as a Marketing/Communications intern at Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia, a foundation
very near and dear to her heart. After being diagnosed with a brain tumor in May of 2013, Francesca was granted her wish to be a writer for a fashion magazine.
While in the fight for her life, Francesca found her voice, and since then, she has not been silent. She shares her story with audiences small and large and commits herself to living life with a fierce desire to learn and explore.
Francesca is thrilled to have the opportunity to immerse herself in Italian culture (and all the gelato and pasta she can eat). If it wasn’t obvious by her name, she has strong Italian roots and can’t wait to explore the land where her family comes from, for the very first time!
