Hello anyone who decides to read this! I’m Emily Yurchison, I just finished my junior year as a multimedia major at Point Park. For those of you who are wondering what exactly a multimedia major is, the best way to explain it is I’m basically majoring in Buzzfeed. (Which coincidentally is where I want to work one day, so if you know someone, put in a good word.)
I’m from North Huntingdon, PA or as most other suburban Point Park students would describe it, “just about half an hour outside of the city.” Shoutout to my mom and my cat.
The main thing I’m involved in on campus is our radio station, WPPJ. I’ve been there for a year now, and I worked their social media in the spring semester. My other main activity is being a Really Supportive Friend.
I’ve wanted to go to Italy for a long time now, I am 0% Italian, but 100% excited. I’m really looking forward to eating nearly everything in sight, the stray cats of Rome, spending all of my money, and buying something haunted from an antique shop.
