Carmen Amadio is a sophomore photography major and marketing minor. She was a staff photographer at her school newspaper and now holds a position as a copy-editor. With a desire to pursue a career in fashion, she is beyond excited to visit one of the fashion capitals of the world. She has been an intern with CollegeFashionista for the past school year as a style guru and photography fellow. Whenever she isn’t working on school projects, you can find Carmen freelancing in her local community as an editorial, fashion, family and senior photographer.
Carmen is passionate about her culture and heritage, so being able to visit Italy is a humbling and educational experience for her. She is fortunate enough to have family living in Italy and her immediate family who follows many Italian traditions – making her feel ready and comfortable to travel to a country that already feels like home.
Her dream is to one day have an old Victorian house filled with artifacts and treasures she collected around the world once she fulfills her career as being an editorial photographer for designer clothing brands and fashion magazines.
