I’m a senior broadcast reporting major with minors in broadcast production and public relations/advertising. When we return from Italy, I will move to Bridgeport, W. Va. to work as an anchor/reporter at WDTV, the local CBS affiliate.
I previously served as editor-in-chief of The Globe and news/sports director of U-View Television at Point Park, among others. I also worked with the Pirates, Penguins, AT&T SportsNet, the NHL Network, WQED.
I’m looking forward to finally seeing the country that we’ve studied all semester up close. My hope is to talk to as many people as possible and to pick up a few more portfolio pieces while on our trip.
This is the last class of my college career! It’s hard to believe how fast time flies, but I’m excited that I get to end my Point Park education studying in Italy. I’ve traveled to several cities all over the United States, but the only other country I’ve ever been to is Canada. I’m looking forward to the long flight and long days on our feet!
We’ve done a lot to prepare for this journey. I’m excited to bring you my stories and experiences as we embark on this expedition.
