Hello, all!
My name is Courtney List, and I am an upcoming senior majoring in Public Relations and Advertising at Point Park University.
After I graduate, I hope to work for a professional sports team. My interests are in the field of community relations, special events and PR. I finished my internship with the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation two days ago. When I return from this trip, I will start my next internship with the Pittsburgh Pirates in their community relations department.
I have had a passion for traveling since I was a child. My family and I visited Switzerland often for my mother’s work. This experience made me want to see all of the other beautiful cities around the world.
My favorite place to travel is Mexico, but I am hoping after this trip, I will have a new favorite destination.
This is only my second year in college so I registered later than everyone else in the class. I had to beg Helen to squeeze me into the course, and I am very thankful she did!
While in Italy, I am looking forward to eating my body weight in gelato and riding in a gondola. I’m also super excited to see the Vatican. During this trip I will be responsible for taking pictures for this amazing website.
Fun facts about me:
- I am allergic to red dye, but I get my hair dyed red
- I rode an elephant in Switzerland
- I have met all of the Pittsburgh Penguins – Ian Cole was my favorite
