Back on some media visits today. We started the day by visiting Burston-Marstellar. It is an ad/pr agency we had presenters that talked about all different topics. The two topics that stuck out to me most is when we talked about influencers, and how to use those for products which I found really interesting. The other thing that stuck out the most was when Sergio Rodriquez told us about building a brand and brand activation. Being involved in event planning this is something that I could see myself doing someday especially the brand activation part. I really liked the brand activation part. He worked with an alcohol called Campari. He let us sample the product, it was interesting. We also got to see how he has developed the brand with videos and movies. It made me want to try it even though I already knew I didn’t like it because these videos were so good.
After we left Burston-Marsteller, we headed to Rai Milan. Which is their news station. It was amazing to be on the sets of their shows from television to radio. The radio broadcast was a fun because they let one of our students on the air. Everyone was very welcoming, and proud to show off what they did. After our day, we got to grab dinner and relax for the rest of the evening.
